Northeast Fly Fishing School® Intermediate Class
The intermediate class is for anglers who have been fishing for
a year or two, and in some cases many more, who would like to improve
their skill level and increase their success rate. In a full day
the class will cover fishing from the aspect of approach and presentation.
We believe casting accuracy and presentation are as important or
more important than distance. Improving line management and mending
techniques will make you a better angler. We’ll also cover
fly selection; drag free drifts for dries; rigging and fishing nymphs,
wets, soft hackles and streamers.
You'll learn various casting techniques; reach casts and yes even
single and double hauling for those times when you might need extra
distance. You'll learn how to rig two flies and fish various combinations
from dries to streamers.
Each student will receive individual attention to work on fly fishing
aspects they feel need improvement.
The entire class will be on the water on the Contoocook River in
Henniker, NH, one of the most beautiful rivers in New England..
This class is for you if you want to:
- Increase your knowledge
- Increase you confidence
- Learn how to catch more fish
